Scholarships
In 2025, the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS® (SPAAR) REALTORS® Charitable Foundation will award up to five $2,000 scholarships to children or grandchildren of current SPAAR members. (One scholarship may be designated for the child or grandchild of a SPAAR Affiliate Member.) Scholarship recipients will be selected based on school and community activities, personal recommendations, and an essay. These scholarships were made possible due to a generous gift made in memory of SPAAR’s former CEO John Fridlington who passed away in early 2024.

Scholarship Eligibility:
The student applying must be the child or grandchild of a current member of the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS®.
Applicants must submit a completed application, essay and two letters of recommendation for consideration.
Eligible students must plan to attend a two- or four-year college/trade school as a new or continuing student in the fall of 2025.
Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible.
Relatives of members of the Selection Committee for the Foundation are not eligible.
Decisions of the Selection Committee for the Foundation are final.
Application Deadline:
Application and supporting documents must be received by 4:45 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2025.
