SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation in partnership with the Minneapolis Area REAL TORS® (MAR) Foundation and Minnesota Realtors® (MNR) hosted the Minnesota Realtors® Rebuilding Community Giving Campaign earlier this fall, surpassing the $250,000 goal.
Earlier this week, Amy Peterson, Chair of SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, Cari Linn, Chair of Minneapolis Area REALTORS® Foundation, and Emily Green of MNR delivered checks to recipients of the funds including the Upper Northside Business Association, Longfellow Community Council and Twin Cities United Way.
Recognizing the strong tie between healthy businesses and home ownership, all money raised will fund the rebuilding of businesses in the Twin Cities that were damaged or destroyed following the killing of George Floyd.
MN Realtors® Rebuilding Community is a multi-association effort to engage in racial diversity, equity and inclusion issues as they pertain to housing. SPAAR, MAR and MNR are founding partners.
