Take part in an introduction to self-defense class during REALTOR® Safety Month.
REALTORS® Charitable Foundation is partnering with Valley Self-Defense (located in East Metro) to offer a self-defense class that will teach participants how to defend themselves against the most common attacks in a safe and empowering environment. Participants will learn safe ways to punch, kick, use situational awareness and boundary setting, and more.
Valley Self-Defense's trauma-informed instructors can work with all levels of individuals whether previously trained as well as with all fitness levels, anxiety levels, and more
.
This self-defense class will also benefit Spare Key, a local nonprofit that provide assistance to families with a critically ill or seriously injured family member. No matter the illness, no matter the injury, no matter the income. The cost is $35 per person, and all proceeds will be matched by REALTORS® Charitable Foundation and directed to Spare Key.
